Thread: hypocritic global warmer

What I cannot stand is hypocracy. Example: John Travolta. He flys around in a giant jet with a few people on it and then has the gall to tell others they need to be concerned about limiting floro carbons released into the atmosphere. Read please:

"His serious aviation habit means he is hardly the best person to lecture others on the environment. But John Travolta went ahead and did it anyway.

But although he readily admitted: "I fly jets", he failed to mention he actually owns five, along with his own private runway.

Travolta made his comments this week at the British premiere of his movie, Wild Hogs.
He spoke of the importance of helping the environment by using "alternative methods of fuel" – after driving down the red carpet on a Harley Davidson...."

They think they are Gods that are very smart and deserve special treatment. they have spent their whole life with people fawning over them telling them they are special. How do you think Micheal Jackson turned out as he did?

Something about him flying to Europe from the US just to get something to eat...if only we could be so lucky. I suppose when we listen to them long enough we will discover that we don't really need to make any changes to our energy use. We will just need to pay a tax so that everything can be fixed for us. So then they will stop being hypocrites. They can use whatever energy they want and we will all pay taxes but just some of us will benefit from those taxes. Same old modus operandi.

Carbon offstes do nothing to help the environment. If we all flew jumbo jets with one person in them and yet we all paid carbon offsets, would that magically make the huge increase in carbons removed from the air? Of course not. It is a joke. Like paying indulgences to the Catholic church in the 1400 to absolve yourself of sin.

No liberals want to weigh in on this one. Because even they are perplexed by the hypocracy.
