Thread: Television & Campaigns

Our politicians, both actual & wanna'bes, now have to have a full head of hair, dressed by world class designers, & above all, be "one of the beautiful people" Can you imagine Abraham Lincoln or FDR winning in todays atmosphere of superficial gods or godesses?
I have decided to just listen to what candidates are saying in the next election, not look at TV, but listen & read. I want to see if that makes a difference in my choice.
I hope I can stick to my experiment.

Yes, I do know what they look like. However, today maybe I won't see Rudys follical challenged head, or Hillarys sneering, or McCains trying to act like a teenager, or Edwards holding a shovel in NO like he's really working, maybe I'll just listen to them....or maybe not, but it's worth a try.
