Impeach Bush!

Yes, I said it, and yes, I meant it. But unlike the softbrained morons who wish to see Bush impeached because they are politically opposed to his party, I am stating Bush should be impeached from an objective and legal viewpoint.

Our Constitution grants clear, concise freedoms, and guarantees certain treatment under the law. Bush and his merry band did all they could to slam the Patriot Act down our throats "for our protection", which in essence just about turned the US into a police state. The breadth and scope of powers this simple writ gives the administrative branch is apalling and IMO unconstitutional. Also the makeup of the law is such that it effectively prevents the Supreme Court from overturning it. The same can be said for the MCA, which violates just about every guarantee we have for suspected criminals, under the notion that they are "hostile combatants".

So if the government decides I am a hostile combatant, my protections under the Constitution evaporate.

How is this not a police state again? If some of the big brained legal minds here on the forum can correct me I am open to it, but this is how these acts seem to me.

I assert that Bush and Congress conspired to twist the law to suit their own purposes, and subverted the Constitution. Impeach Bush, try him. Same for Congress, and anyone who took part in the Patriot Act or MCA, and for any senator who has not spent every waking hour decrying these acts as the crimes they are. Kick them ALL out!.

The patriot act is a law. Congress passes laws. I suggest if you do not like a law look to Congress as to why they passed it and then look to Congress as to change it.

Exactly Just. My assertion is that they are just as culpable as the President, and need to be removed en masse.

Bush would be dead 5 years ago if Dick Cheney wasnt the vice president.

I still beleive it is Dick Cheney (and used to be Donald Rumsfeld) that are pulling the strings.

NORTH AMERICAN UNION, OPEN BORDERS, TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION, are all impeacheable offenses!!! Yet, these things have been happening over several years & with more than one administration & more than one Congress. What do we do? NOTHING!!!
Congress playing with the PA is for nothing more than show, you think the Dems don't realize that a law that can inhibit our Constitutional rights don't realize that it would make it as easy for a dem president to rule by decree (dictator) as it would for a repub president? Come on, these people aren't for our freedoms, they're for their power!!!

Does congress mean anything to me? Yes, they are the body that takes our rights willy nilly.
A law enacted is another freedom gone.

I say let him finish his term. His term will end next year anyway. It will ba a waste of resources and time to impeach him now that his term is about to expire.
