Note: This may involve some research.

Civil War was clearly unnecessary. The South had alternatives to armed rebellion.
Spanish American war as the Hearst Papers war.
WWI was pointless from an American perspective.
Because the US improperly intruded on WWI, it was going to get dragged into WWII. Japan made it a necessary war.
Vietnam was unnecessary.
First Gulf War wasn't our concern.
Nope, Yugoslavia was Europe's problem, not ours.
We had no sound reason to attack Iraq - except for one that wasn't mentioned: Hussein's production of "super-bills", perfect counterfeits of US currency. Since we now have the US treasury counterfeiting money, it's clear there was no reason to attack Iraq at all.
Another equally important question is what do you think makes a war "justified?"

I think you have to start with a legitimate reason and not a pack of lies.

The physical, economic, and, in this day and age, cyber security of the United States is directly threatened and the only means to preserve that security is physical force against the agressor.
Clearly an attempt to destroy the economy of the US can be effected with the intention of weakening the physical defenses of the nation. Just take a look at the damage the Democrat's Messiah is doing to us. If an outside force was doing that, it would immediately be perceived as an attack. The Democrats can't see treason, though.
Any attempt on our information infrastructure can be a prelude to disabling our military forces, and should be countered with physical force if we can locate the attacking nation.
Also, and finally, ANY nation that takes a single American hostage should expect to feel the full weight and might of the United States in response. Carter, the quintessential Idiot, violated that rule with dire results eventually leading to 9-11.

So which American wars (starting with the Revolutionary War) are justified in your opinion?

I'm not going to bother researching all of them but VietNam and Iraq were definately not justified. The only legitimate justification is when another country physically attacks us first. However, in cases where we intend to wage war to protect an ally we cannot be the only ones involved. When Russia and China state they will match troop for troop with us against someone such as Iran then we can contemplate it, not before. If it's only going to be us against them, it's not worth it nor justified.

What if Russia and China attack Canada? Ya still think we should wait for their permission to intervene?
What looney reason would we EVER want to allow those two nations, or either, guide our sovereign policies?

[/quote]I think there was justification for all of them, it is just a matter of the process and decisions made after that change things many times.
