Who Will Stop The Next War?

Man I sure like Pat Buchanan! I found this atricle this morning and I got to say it's pretty scarry. I am pretty sure that this administration wants to go it alone once again, this time it's Iran and it's not going to be a walk in the park. Here is the article, let me know what you think.

I think that the article is unrealistic.
Firstly, there is no telling that Iranians will rally behind their leaders if nuclear sites were attacked-- Muslims are naturally peaceful, and only these who would pervert true Islam believe in offensive wars.
Secondly, the present condition of Iranian operatives in Iraq makes the argument that it would skyrocket and get worse a little unrealistic. As if they aren't already making every effort to derail our endeavors in Iraq.
Lastly, this isn't a popularity contest. America has the uncontested military superiority, and in our national self interest, we have the responsibility to take action against Iran should they make attempts at nuclear weapons.
I will would rather take action now than let them bring the fight to American soil.
The reality that Iran would hand over nuclear weapons to terrorist organizations is no mystery. And it's a reality that America is going to have to cope with.
I am not opposed to diplomacy, but it can only do so much. Sometimes there is nothing but 'blood and iron' to protect ourselves. Senseless killing is just that--senseless. Any military action against Iran should be directed to minimize civilian casualties.
Will Americans still advocate diplomacy when L.A. or Chicago or New York gets demolished by a nuke?
It's time to learn from our mistakes with 9/11--America had the chance to eliminate bin Laden forever and missed the chance--and do what needs to be done, regardless of how difficult it may be.
