Does what we civilians think about this matter? Should it matter? Or is all just a silly little game? We should all just shut the fuck up and get back into Super Bowl Sunday I presume????



Local police and hospital officials are disputing US military claims that only 13 people – all of them rebels – died in a US airstrike Thursday on a town west of Baghdad. Iraqis on the ground say the attack claimed 45 civilians, including women and children. American forces claim intelligence showed suspected insurgents were present in a pair of “safe houses” near Amiriyah. After raiding a nearby target and detaining suspected insurgents, the US military ordered an airstrike. Photographs show several children reportedly wounded in the incident.

Nothing in Getreal's post suggested that to me. But what does it matter? They are no more or less dead if their killing was intentional or accidental.

If you order an airstrike in a civilian environment, the balance of probability is that you will kill innocent civilians.

There are no errors if u ask me we can send a missle to anyones house and make it hit in a exact target like a table so i think that we cant miss.

That is not true at all. Success rates for "smart" bombs are no where near perfect.

that dosnt mean that they didnt hit there targets. Most people dont care if civilians get killed because it happens in war lets face it so now they just blow up shit look at lebanon.

We can hit small targets true. But to time it so that only those you want dead are at the table at the time the missle hits is impossible. Terrorists are not soldiers in the traditional sense. They do not wear uniforms and do not travel around in groups only consisting of other military personel. This is not the USAs problem. It is their problem. If the terrorists do not want their wives and children killed along with them then they should not conduct their "war" that way.

Does that mean that if I want to rob everyone on a train I have to shoot everyone because they "might" be undercover police? If we conduct war in such a manner as disregarding civilians, we are no better than the terrorists themselves.

If you are robbing a train you are a criminal. My opinion is that you should turn yourself into the authorities as soon as possible. My advice for the terrorists is to do the same.
