I have a little poll running on my forum and im hoping to find out how much support there is for a woman president.

The poll mentions a woman, not women in general. If I voted "no" would that mean that i woudn't vote for a woman?

How many votes Hillary gets would in no way be indicative of the voters support for a particular gender over the other.

It's not necessarily a woman president, it's WHO this woman is that's running. I don't think people care about gender or race, it's ultimately the candidate's views.

I disagree, I believe people do care about gender when it comes to the presidency. Women, last I heard were not allowed to be in the infantry in the Army. Please, somebody correct me if that has changed in the last 10 years.In other words they can not be ground combat troops. So, why should they be able to be in charge of something they can not be a part of. How can they be commander in Chief of a group in which they are not welcome.
I personally would vote for the right woman. I believe this country is ready for a woman President, but I believe gender is definitely taken into consideration.

They are "ground combat troops", they are pilots in the military, of both winged aircraft & helicoptors. I do believe if the right woman runs, she'll not be looked atas a she, but as a president. Maggie Thatcher proved that a woman can do it, Goldie Mier too, & wasn't there a female president/pm of Pakistan?

Ive never heard that she was/is a b*it**, I've heard/read that she's a d*k* though.
