Rape victim*is jailed on old warrant - CNN.com

How flawed are the laws here?
I can see still arresting this woman, you can't let her off for past crimes because she was the victim of another, but......
why quit the search?
Why not give her her second dose of the morning after pill?
I don't necessarily even fault the people who did these things, they were only following current policy, but come on, is there no sense of humanity or sympathy left?

That part of the story is revolting.

However, If you are hit by a car while walking in the street, and have an outstanding warrant against you, I would expect you to be served while in your hospital bed. I do not have sympathy for criminals who try to avoid the justice system. But the jail worker imposing her morality is wrong. If indeed that is what happened.
