It is only free speech if you consider a corporation has the rights of a human. Which is crap.

This would be violating individuals rights...not a corporation's.

No Child Left Behind? Oh yeah thats the law that screwed up our district. We were doing just fine, we were the number one district in Minnesota, and Minnesota was one of the top states, so wew were one of the top districts in the country. And then that crappy law got passed, and now we are like tenth on the list, all because Bush thought that kids weren't at there full potential. When our district had a 95% above level reading score. That law was, and is, total bull.

What do you mean? I thought we were talking about the original post in which it states and Congress wants to approve a bill that would require bloggers who reach more than 500 people discussing pollitical issues to register and report themselves.

I was. The point of that particular portion of the law is to discourage groups like moveon.org, or swiftboatsforjustice, from being able to contribute to a campaign in the form of a commercial, flying it in under the radar and not counting as a campaign contribution, therefore not subject to the caps already in place.

Dont worry, it does not mean you can not talk about a candidate before an election, thats misinformation. It refers to the 550's (Is that the number?) that allow a loop hole to illegal campaign contributions in the form of a commercial.
