Former Sen. Alan Simpson: Who is Grover Norquist a slave to? « The Fifth Column

Former Senator Alan Simpson (R) appeared on MSNBC’s The Last Word Wednesday, where he called for an investigation into anti-tax crusader Grover Norquist’s influence on the Republican Party.

Grover’s anti-tax pledge has been signed by 235 House Republicans and 41 Senate Republicans.

“If Grover Norquist is more powerful than the President of the United States and Congress… he should run for president,” Simpson said. “It’s time now to peel all the layers of onion off of Grover Norquist.”



Here is Simpson on Closing tax loop holes.....the first 3 mins is President Obamas Speech Wed. Obama referenced Republican Senator Alan Simpson. Who was heading Obama'S Bi-Partisan Fiscal Committee. Until he was removed from that postion.

Simpson was talking about possible tax revenue increases thru the Tax code. Favoring the flat tax.
One can start the video at 3 mins if they do not want to see what the President Stated. Simpson and ODonnell both talked about being behind closed doors for one specific reason. That was the lobbyists. Because they didnt want the lobbyists to know what was being given up.

Furthermore Simpson wants Norquist investigated as to where he is getting his money. Also questions that Norquist sold his soul by signing a piece of paper agreeing not to raise any sort of taxes and stating that even some tax revenues were still increases when they are not. Simpson really goes after Norquist and those DeRegulators of the Neo-Cons. Even Republican Senator Tom Coburn is calling Norquist ludicrious. Take Note of what Simpson states about the Media, and what can be done immediately. Thoughts?

Want to raise money without raising taxes? End the bullshit "Earned" Income Tax Credit. Make a law prohibiting the Treasury from issuing tax refunds in excess of the actual taxes paid. Start defining as income the assitance people get from welfare, as the checks issued by the Socialist Security Administration are taxed and as unemployment benefits are taxed.

That jackass Obama wants to destroy the executive business jet industry in America like he destroyed domestic drilling. Taxing executive jets, which, btw, are legitimate business expenses, will lead only to fewer companies using them and that will lead to thousands more out of jobs. What it won't lead to is increased revenue. But this is the nonsense the fools on the left like Obama and Simpleton want. It's too obvious to be mere ignorance, the damage intended must be deliberate.
