How to copy and paste while posting quotes? How to prevent automatic log outs?

Today I've tried to make a post twice but I'v recognised that during making a post, it is not possible to, cut, copy or paste the typed post. Is this possible in a way I have not recognized yet? Because this makes the time, more to consume to make a post.

Also I am automatically being logged out after a while I log in. Today I've logged in, typed a long post and could not send it TWICE, because of this auto log out problem. Moreover it is not possible to copy or paste the post you type at the time you are typing it. Under these conditions, I am unable to make a long post.

Also, when you type a long post and go to post it and find you're logged out, just type in your user name and password and hit return and you'll find that your post HAS BEEN POSTED. It happens to me all the time. So you don't have to retype it and you're back in the game.

Thanks a lot. I've solved the problem via pushing CTRL+C. This copies the text. I'm accustomed to sites where you see 'copy' option at the time you right click your mouse and that's why I think I've been confused on this site.

If you tick the "remember me" box when logging in, your session won't expire and you won't have to login again.

Every site that uses VBulletin that I've been too has that auto logout problem. It's really annoying and because of this I refuse to sign up with any other VBulletin sites I find.

I know you can hit "remember me", but the thing is I don't want it to remember my password and autolog me in- I just want it to not autolog me *out* after ten minutes (or less!).

I think a few hours of inactivity is a good timeframe for auto logout. What would be even better would be if you could choose how long it takes before autologout.

If I hit "remember me" will it autolog me in? I just sort of assume it would, since that's how every other site works. I don't want someone using my computer, coming across a site I post on to just stupidly start typing a post under my name. I'd rather soil my own reputation, thank you.

Stone, if you click the "remember me" it will not remember your logon and password if you log out, nor will you have an automatic login. It will only remember to keep you logged in until you log out. When you log out, the board clears your cookies from this site to protect you.
