And in that thread that was eventually locked it was the racists of the forum who began calling other members racists. Ain't that a kick in the pants. They didn't even get thread banned - they were allowed to pee all over the thread and they did just what they intended to do, what they do quite often when a thread is not favorable to them - they got it locked.

Let's repeat a basic fact that has been overlooked by the staff for months now.

Those who claim Obama is not a naturalized citizen because both of his parents were not US citizens, because his father was a Kenyan, thus Obama is not qualified to be president are posting based on racism, the facts are not their concern.

If they truly cared about that position they would be signing petitions to have Romney and Sanatorium removed from the GOP ballots because Romney's father is a Mexican immigrant and Sanitorium's father is an Italian immigrant (they came from Mexico and Italy respectively and settled in the USA - they were not born US citizens just like Obama's dad).

But when folks alert on the threads they are ignored and the racism is allowed to continue and the pettiness supported by the silence of the staff.

Birthers are racists - they don't care about McCain not being born in the USA or the parentage of other candidates - it is Obama, the black man that causes them concern, that is not qualified to hold office.

If it's so subtle you need a dictionary and a microscope to figure out what it is, it's probably not worth worrying about. Hate speech matters, but I see more hate being posted by people screaming "racist" all the time than I do from the people accused of being racists.

All we want to accomplish with this is to get people to stop derailing threads with "am not" "are too" posts. It's pointless anyway. The Perry Mason moment when someone crumbles under the pressure of being hounded by "racist douchebag" posts and cries "yes, yes! It's true - I confess" isn't going to happen. Ever.

If someone who lived next door to you had a white power flag in his window would you spend all day long hanging out on his porch yelling at him that he's a racist? Of course not because it wouldn't accomplish anything anyway. So why do it here?

Why can't we all just discuss, debate the issue of rascism without attacking someone personally. I don't see the hardship in that. It's a dicussion this country should have, and can be had, without calling one one.

I'm not sure which report. There are a bunch of reports everyday. And if you can't bring it out then it's not proven. And this is not the thread to do it in. This is for discussion of the rule.
