Thread: I propose something crazy

Look, I personally have been ugly to people here, cough, nick, bourne, steez, ink, michelle, um and just about any obama lover there is here.

HOWEVER, it has been given to me as well, and I would even argue that it was a learned trait...BECAUSE, as you all know, I am perfect. (I know some will TRY and disagree, just don't)

Anyway, at the end of the day, it is each one of you that makes this board fun and worth coming here. Most of us have been members for a long time, and we have come to know each other pretty well, and I would bet that if we knew each other on the outside we would not be this hostile towards each other. SO, I propose that we ALL start over a bit, myself included. A fresh start if you will. And keep the insults to a min, myself included. Use the RnR section to air our "passionate disagreements" but try and keep that civil as well.

I am willing to try... I know it sounds corny, but this is our board, we can make it like we want it, right?

I agree. A Call for change. Just like our inspired leader Obama once said...... No no... I'm kidding..........I've got to tell you, though man. In the past two days I've been having a blast. I can feel a new blood in the place... and almost all of it is snarky, evil minded and deliberately confrontational.... BUT IN A FUN WAY AGAIN.Welcome back all you brainwashed fascist minions I totally disagree with. GOD it's been so long!

Also, I am willing to bet that none of us would let an outsider come in here and start talking trash about any of us w/o getting ripped by just about everyone....

If you think this is a good idea, type in YAY, or NAY..... I am curious to see who is willing to try.

YAY. It would be nice if this worked out.

Good luck, but this forum runs on drama and debate. It'd be pretty dull if everyone started agreeing with each other.

Well this is what I was saying before. We are a bit like a family. It is easy to get caught up in pissing matches with those you converse with often. What is the saying? "Familiarity breeds contempt." Sometimes maybe when things get heated up we should all take a step back and remember this feeling that we are feeling now.
