Thread: Inkslinger, Davocrat, and Bourne all banned

All three of these individuals are/were good members and I think this shows where this forum is headed. Oh yeah, they banned those dudes but are bringing back Invayne. Wow. That is just blatantly bizarre. Did Rush Limbaugh buy this forum or something?

Speaking of Rush Limbaugh. He is a fat convicted druggie hypocrite who most likely secretly prefers smoking penis.

I saw that one coming a mile off once the backtracking on blanket reinstatements happened. What I didn't expect was for Inky to get temp banned yet again and for such a retarded reason...

Inky is temp banned, Bourne is not banned, and Davo has been banned many times under many names.

Well, It was part of a discussion just recently and Bourne was apparantly temp banned.

As far as Davo, From what I read here he got into it with the mods/admin and no matter what he did, It has been reported that he received a threat that was outside the forum. The admin threatened to report him to the FBI or something like that and that goes way beyond uncool. That amdin then stepped aside and my guess is that they possibly advising or puppetmastering the new admn. That is a guess but it is always a bad idea for someone to name thier replacement. Did Davocrat ever make any threats on the outside to forum level? If not he was wronged more than he wronged anybody else and a public apology should be posted since his rep has been besmirched.

Also, from Inky's last post, It looks like he was complaining that his posts were being deleted. To me that kind of censorship and control is bad and there should be a little more transparancy. The idea that the admins have to have thier asses kissed or people have to walk on eggshells is a bullshit environment. The current batch of mods are going to bring back Invayne and orignially offered it as a trade-off to bring back Davocrat. The fact remains that the right seems to be doing an Iran style shutdown as far as transparancy and freedom of speech. The message seems to be that if you don't go along with bullshit and pretend like it isn't bullshit, then your dissenting posts will be deleted and your will be banned.

I haven't had time to read through everything but I am still getting a bad vibe as far as the current future of this forum. I don't plan to post to much in the political threads until I see some that freedom of speech is respected and censorship is not going to take place using the rules that all mods must have thier ass kissed as an excuse.

You are 100% correct based on the fact that the admin even floated the Idea of trading Davo for Invayne in a poll/thread and using the blanket reienstatement to give the false appearance of fairness. It makes no sense at all unless you can pick up on the vibe that some of the mods are friends with Invayne and are giving her a pass at the expense of having a better forum. There is no question that this forum is not thriving and one sided moderating isn't the answer. They want to punish Inky and Davo and bring back one of most vile and hateful members ever. She once had said that "Islam" was a "human cesspool" and she was purely nasty to anyone who questioned that kind of bullshit. There is no question that when a visitor comes to a forum and sees that that kind of low life mentality is acceptable then of course they are going to surf on.

No, I am pretty clear in what I said and if you want to dismiss it with a bullshit response like that then fair enough. It is amazing that I point out that you have censored or banned three particular "libs" and are at the same time trying to bring back a right wing troll and then you say my opposition is "political". This is no different than the strategy Iran has used to silence people who disagree with them.

Your facts are way off, man.

I was not even a mod when Davocrat, Bourne, and Inkslinger were originally banned.

Also, your opposition is political because

A) You suggest that Rush Limbaugh has bought this forum, thereby characterizing the staff as right-wing.

B) You have established that you hate Rush Limbaugh to the nth degree, certifying that you hate right-wingers.

Therefore, you oppose the staff for political reasons because you have concluded that A)the staff is right-wing and B)you hate right-wingers.

Thank you again for confirming my suspicions of your intentions in opposing this staff.

I want to see all former members be given a chance. I like Invayne yes...and I have appreciated Davo. Both when given the chance have added tremendously to this forum....they are polar opposites in viewpoint...and yet they have a friendly relationship outside this forum. More people on this forum could learn from that and quit trying to make everything about partisanship and ideology.
