Thread: My issues and non-issues with JOM, in case anyone cares

JOM has been jovial and cordial over the couple of years I've been here. He went through a weenie stage when I first joined, making lists of "stupid" or "crazy" people who thought Bush might have been complicit in 911. But for the most part, he's been a decent and principled fellow.

Lately, up to the election and since Barack Hussein Obama became our rightful leader, JOM's behavior here has included:

• Weenie-ish niggling about literal statements by Obama taken out of context.
• Raising the question of Obama's birthplace and American citizenship.
• Defending a blatant racist (Dependsor) just because he's not a lefty.
• Whining about how watermelon jokes about blacks by public officials are funny and should be allowed without any social sanction.
• Being either intentionally obtuse or unfortunately idiotic about the implications of watermelon vis a vis demeaning jokes about blacks.
• Distilling intelligent debate into one-word emotionally charged accusations, e.g., "socialist" and "welfare."
• Wondering why so many people call him JOI.

How JOM could change and earn back some respect if he would just:

• Offer some original reasoning about the conservative positions he holds without relying on ignoramus MSM pundits like Coulter and Limbaugh.
• Quit pretending that Dependsor is NOT a hateful festering poltroon.
• Stop being reverse politically correct with backasswards logic like saying "watermelon" is just fruit.
• Quit whining about your nickname. You earned it.

I engage daily in political debate here at PH. You and a few other lefties simply descend into name calling. Why don't you debate the issues instead of name calling? Hmmm?

I'm only speaking for myself, but I don't try and claim the moral high ground. When it comes to the right, I'll do whatever it takes to make you feel like shit. Its really that simple. I'm not here to make friends, especially with the whiny little bitches from the right who only engage in civil discourse when its convenient for them.
