so is constructive criticism still against the rules?

since my temp ban about two weeks ago for commenting objectively on the way a certain member posts, has anything changed? or is that still not allowed? i just want to know before i decide to come back. i don't have any interest wasting my time on a board where you get temp banned for commenting on the manner in which another member posts.

well unfortunately i'm not back, just here seeing whether i want to return.

btw, are there rules posted anywhere? i know on the old ph there was a whole section on just the rules, does that still exist?

The rules don't matter which is why I am not back either. Ad hoc rules issued by mods that result in immediate account closures are not my cup of tea.

In reality they never did "matter", not because we didn't want them to, but because administering a specific set of rules is a full time job and we've never had full time employees. Maybe you've found some place that does, I don't know. I, for one, miss having you around so I kinda hoped you'd come back when you realized we just decided to be honest.

Well to be honest I was told I was warned, I was not, and that I have told people to leave the forum, I specifically told them that was not what I was suggesting but if they did not want to particiapte in thread or if all they had was ad hominem towards me they should just refrain from posting in the thread (as I had previously told PH I would handle such trolling) and then my account was closed. So not knowing what the rules are or aren't when they result in a mod issuing an immediate closing of my account without warning is just not for me, that is not very honest to use you framing of it.
