    Bourne the liberal?

Wow, I hope everyone has got the message that Bourne is now one of the liberals, who claims that he is openly against conservatives. "Chashin' down conservatives," Bourne?

"I am a conservative and I have consistently voted Republican ever since I returned from service in Vietnam."
    --Bourne

"It is just amazing how quickly the liberals and antiwar crowd want to quit and abandon the Iraqis to certain slaughter if we leave now."
    --Bourne

"I post primarily as a conservative. If my posts agree with the position of the administration then that's a coincidence with which I have no problem."
    --Bourne

"I'm a centrist with a slight leaning to the conservative therefore McCain is a perfect fit for me."
    --Bourne

"I'm a Republican and I consider myself a slightly right of center conservative..."
    --Bourne

"I'm a Republican and, for the most part, a centrist although I do have conservative leanings. That's why I favor McCain...I and my Republican friends are very enthusiastic about McCain and a number of us are voluteering to serve on his local campaign committee."
    --Bourne

    On impeachment of Bush...

"Face it, Congress realizes that there has been no wrongdoing so it will take no action...Congress wisely realizes that there is no substance to the suggestion of impeachment."
    --Bourne

    On George H. W. Bush...

"McCain is picking up another excellent endorsement from a true unifying force in the Republican Party...What a great endorsement. Conservatives should have no doubt of McCain's conservative credentials now."
    --Bourne

    On the War in Iraq...

"Certainly. McCain knows that you can't let a timetable dictate action in a fluid military operation. Romney did not realize that and it cost him the nomination. He has since realized his mistake and wisely endorsed McCain. That's what the politician's did in Vietnam and it cost us the war. McCain learned from that mistake and won't allow it to reoccur. McCain is a true Commander-In-Chief."
    --Bourne

"Obama will have some explaining to do having changed his position on Iraq to adapt to the increasing rate of success regarding in country operations. On the other hand, McCain can get ready to say, "I told you so. I just loved it when the surge began to succeed and the Democrats jaws dropped in embarassment."
    --Bourne

Interestingly enough, several of these come from heated exchanges siding with JOM against TFM and hyenas Steezer and Inkslinger; those with whom Bourne is now attempting to curry favor. Seems like Bourne is the Bob Barr of the liberal hyena movement...how long will his façade hold up?

Bourne is a hypocrite and a liar, but I think you're going a little far with the name-calling.

I could go further, but I think dumb ass is a perfect fit.

According to Merriam-Webster a hypocrite is a person who acts in contradiction to his or her stated beliefs or feelings. I don't see that with Bourne. I see someone who changed his mind, and has been pretty consistent in stating his change in political philosophy with acting in contradiction to that. I also don't think he was a hypocrite before that either. I don't consider you a hypocrite either. Just a dumb ass.

You're free to call him whatever you want, but I just think you should stick to the issues for now.

I think it's refreshing to see that not everyone is stuck on stupid and will run off the edge of a partisan cliff. Also, it seems to me that conservative is the new liberal. Parties have reversed roles in the past 50 years and the masses are confused so they stick to team mentality.

So overnight and for no apparent reason, Bourne suddenly did a 180 on every single issue? One day he was volunteering enthusiastically for the McCain campaign and the next day he's an Obamaniac?

And that partisan cliff works both ways. It seems all Bourne did was run from the Repugnicon side of the cliff right off the Democrap side of the cliff.

Also, it seems to me that conservative is the new liberal. Parties have reversed roles in the past 50 years and the masses are confused so they stick to team mentality.
I'd say they've just fused together into one big bastard child of fascism and socialism.
