Not even close. He supported McCain (and IMO he supported McCain the POW not McCain the Senator). Any thinking person open to the message of the candidates once things got going would choose Obama. It really isn't a difficult position. Bourne consistently hugged the center from the beginning and then made a decision based, I think on the positions (Bourne feel free to correct me if I got it wrong) presented by the candidates. He never was ideologically critical of Clinton/Obama and fnever disrespectful of them when he was stating his support of McCain. All along he also stated that McCain and Obama were 2 good candidates. It has become apparent as McCain has become more desperate to win that McCain has adopted Rovian campaign strategies (as well as staff). McCain has shown, especially in the past week, he doesn't have the temperament to be a good President. Thinking people are seeing that. What I see now in McCain scares me. What Obama may lack in experience I see made up for in intellect and openness. I can't speak for Bourne but I suspect he at least, doesn't disagree with me on this.
And no, your last sentence up there is the dumbest thing said on this thread so far.
