Yes i was, sometimes I would temporally shut down a thread. I would alert the members that it may be getting out of hand. I would state this is easier and better than infracting the lot, then in a few hours/day, I would open it. I knew that there were members that wanted to contribute to the thread, and caused no trouble. They, and others should have that opportunity, and should not be subject to group punishment.

If it was an old member who WASNT spamming threads I say just let it die naturally.

The rules we work under now were not crafted by you, so that's a dead horse arguement. The point I was making, as is in the rules ... if you don't agree with a mod or a decision ... take it to PM or email. You have called out a Mod ... and you knew that when you posted the OP and what it means.
