Maybe there is a really good explanation for this...but I cannot think of it.

How do we get photographs of our own galaxy?!

How is that the Milky Way? How did we take that?!

Like all those pictures you see in textbooks of our galaxy....I doubt that is actually our galaxy.

What is there a giant mirror in the space to reflect the image off of?

Does anyone know anything about all of this?

i think its an illustration, seems the bottom left hand corner suggests its a simulated image...
I can't imagine that it could actually be a photograph. I know we ar on the wings but not that far out of the action....
