The Bear must be one of those people who are afraid of change.

Why don't we ban the words:
"George W. Bush is a good president,"
"George W. Bush is a great American,"
"George W. Bush is keeping the United States safe from terrorism,"
    "McCain is a Conservative,"
"Ronald Reagan was one of the best presidents, if not the best president, the United States ever had,"
"Saddam had weapons of mass destruction,"
"Israel is not a terrorist country,"
    "Christianity is a peaceful religion,"
"Illegals are good for the United States,"
    "The U.S. economy is great,"

    ....and so many more......

I think he is making a point, and a very good point that should be made from time to time.

Of course he's making a "point" and I disagree with him.

And I disagree that it's a "very good point that should be made from time to time." I'll agree that it's "a point."

People are afraid of anything that isn't the same as a regular Democrat or Republican or Liberal or Conservative; again, they're afraid of change. They just want the "same old-same old" over and over again.

I may be missing the point but it if I have it clear, it is to show that banning words is ridiculous. Much like you and I 'may' agree.

This stems from 2 threads. One where I suggested it'd be a shame if the use of the word; Neo-Con was made a banning offense on PH. The other is where Migi elaborated on that to the name Ron Paul. Then the_bear ran with it as you see here.

I agree with everything that has been said on this thread because every person that makes the comment that we have found objectionable on this thread are idiots. They get banned eventually because they are idiots, so I second this request! And I am not kidding.
