    Road Rage

A guy got pissed at me and followed me for miles flashing his lights, hitting his horn, and swerving all over the road, he followed me in to a parking lot and got out of his truck. I drove away. That's to make a real long story short.

Thing is, I had a gun. I wonder what he was thinking?

People get in to confrontations all the time, do any of you stop to consider the possibility the other guy is packing heat?

I was raised in a really really tough neighborhood filled with gangs, homeless, and petty criminals...........From my experience, you did the exact right thing. If you'd of shot him, you would have to beat youself in the head to prove he had gotten ahold of you with deadly intent, hope there were no witnesses watching you pistol whip yourself, then drag his body around to make blood tracks that would simulate a deadly struggle, all the while very dizzy and loosing blood from wherever profusely....and only then maybe....you might fool the detective.

There is no potenially violent situation you can run from, or drive away from fast enough. Thats how the courts look at it too.

This time of year, I illegally carry a Remington 870 Super Mag in my back seat. I don't worry too much about what the other guys has.

Seriously, I can not for the life of me understand road rage.

I don't get it either. I'm the sort that looks at the speedometer and says "oh fuck, I'm going too slow". The only thing that irritates me on the road is when someone else pulls a move that puts me at risk, and I couldn't imagine retaliating with a move that puts us both at risk. Road rage is gay, and so are the people who practice it.

You never know when a duck will fly by. It pays to be prepared.
