I'm no Constitutional scholar, as much as many of you assume that I am, so I have a question: If we abolish the Second Amendment, does "not quartering soldiers in private homes" become the NEW Second Amendment? Or is there just a gap? The Amendment Formerly Known?...Maybe a little symbol like Prince used for a while?
Or do we just put in a placeholder? Maybe a message like, "Don't Forget April 15"? We could put crowns on the First and Third Amendments to make a bridge.
I'm not sure what the Constitution says about this, but I'm curious.
Any ideas?
