Thread: Do I get points for style?

I don't know, I just feel like insulting someone today. So my question is this: What is the proper way to insult someone? If I call them a sanctimonious prig, is that an insult? What if it's true? How about calling someone a tool? An asshat? Can I call someone a self-obsessed douchebag and if so do I get points for style?

Points for tool and asshat, no points awarded for any insult when the word douchebag is involved. The thing to remember about a good insult, in my opinion, is it needs to be so obnoxiously basic that you don't see it coming. If you try to make it too profound or intellectual it looks like you spent time thinking it up, and then you actually lose points. Keep in mind that we're talking cool points here, which are pretty much nonredeemable.

So, "eat ass goat fucker" is a good insult, while "you are a slef abosorbed narcessitic pig" is lame. However, there is always the wild card of "rube", if you said "you are a slef abosorbed narcessitic rube" then you get a few points.

I dunno about the "rube", but other than that, I agree. I promise points for a "goat fucker" too. I also like "fucktard", myself.

Oh, and "sanctimonious prig" isn't a real insult IMO. In my experience, it tends to be true about people receiving the label too.

How about "blow me you siberian sheepshagger?"

Or maybe

"What's it like to be such a tool?"

Well John, it's pretty fucked up being a tool, so I'd like it if you would just get your shit together I wouldn't need to be fixing you all the time.
