Can you love the homosexual, and yet be against the activity?

Of course you can.

Well I know some who believe that you can love the activity, but be against homosexuality.

but all seriousness, define Love. Does it mean accepting the person for who they truely are? Than IMO, no, you can't.

Love, meaning you acknowledge their lifestyle, and their right to live that lifestyle, but for personal reasons you are against the lifestyle and the organizations that promote it.

Is it really love, if you oppose to let the one you love experience love herself/himself? Yeah, you would love the homosexual, but you would love your ideals more.

Sure, of course, and why not? People should be judged in life for who they are and what they accomplish in life, not what they do behind closed doors.
