Thread: What constitutes spamming?

I'm asking coz I just found out that TurnBackTheClock got put on probation for posting a link to another forum in their posts, and I'm guessing it was more than once but less than five times. So how is that spamming and against the rules? Am I going to cop a heavy duty infraction for having the link to my blog in the sig line of every post I do?

I assume it falls under the guidelines of promoting or advertising another independent website.

1. Advertising, spamming and trolling is not allowed. This includes using the forum email and private message system to spam other members. We are not an advertising venue. If we believe you have joined Political Hotwire to promote another website, your posting privelages will be revoked.

I think your fine. As long as your not starting a thread for the point of advertising.

BTW, there is a option in your 'User CP' under 'Edit Profile' that lets you enter in your website for others to see.

I had Spam for lunch. Evidently it will help my non existant penis grow larger after I collect my free designer handbag at the Golf n' Stuff store where I can find many many hot single asian women for my desirous pleasures and can pay for all this with the million dollar Nigerian bank account I just inherited from their deceased King.

Anyone with the name Ron Paul in their screen name is a spammer.

I have never seen a sig line. Did I somehow become the lucky recipient of a defect? If so, please don't change it because I have no interest in any of your signatures. No offense.

1 tin of Anchovies
2 12oz cans of beer
4 oz tomato juice
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/2 cup chopped up parsley
1/4 cup chopped scallions
dash of Tabasco
salt (if you'd need it), pepper to taste

Put it in blender and blend until smooth.

Serve chilled with Celery stick.

That is a salad a main course and an after dinner drink all rolled up into one. It is genius!!
