Thread: insults

During the course of the past month this forum has become a little different. It has become more like the kind of forums that I do not wish to participate in. It is because of a handful of posters that insult those they do not agree with. It is tiresome. I find myself less and less interested in comming here as a result.

I don't think it's any different. Maybe your ability to ignor it or otherwise deal with it is what's different.

Someone posts complaining about the snark in here and they are responded to with snark. LOL

You're talking down to him/her. Maybe not intentionally, but that's how people get anesthesized on these boards. IMO, of course.

Some members I feel I have to clarify my comments to, but justone is someone who can appreceiate blunt speak and not read in to it.
I meant nothing I didn't say, peoples tolerance levels change like the tide.

Posters like that really do suck it hard, don't they?

JOM won't agree, but the one member who is really the only very, very, very insulting one here is TD. Perhaps Z-boy on a semi-regular basis, too.

Everyone else has their subtle jabs and innuendos, but seem to get their point across in the majority of their posts. So, I don't see this forum changing that much the past month.

I DO remember, though, when JOM wanted to leave months ago when TOJ was a Mod; then JOM got down and dirty and didn't like this forum.

But it's been cool the past few months....
