Thread: Another example of ABUSING the

The credibility of reputation once more becomes less relevant when abuses like this continue to occur. Inkslinger gave me a RED for this comment; does anyone see this as being legitimate? This is why the system is petty and meanginless:

Well Bluesman, now you come closer to the point being made:

"Will that help America right now? "

One would ask the same question of the Democrats in the current situation. How is not being unified behind the effort in Iraq and NOT providing the Commander and Chief support going to make things better for our troops? How does it NOT provide comfort to the terrorists who are COUNTING on Democrats forcing the President to retreat?

How do they rationalize with any credibility the vote to authorize the use of force, and then say that they didn't really mean it? And please spare me the lame absurd Democrat speaking point that the war is being "mismanaged." It impugns the Military commanders everyone claims they support.

This war is not being run by Rove or Bush. That has been delegated to the Generals on the ground. How do the Democrats actions square with the fact that they were all for it, and now are trying to run away from their votes?

The reason I posted my comments in GREEN versus the posts in question was to distinguish the two and make it easier to understand.

I think what went down is self explanatory, but my motives for posting this may not be. No it is not to whine.

My purpose is that by illustrating nonsense like this, people can look at it and say, "you know what, I have been guilty of that too and realize it is petty, stupid and doesn't add anything to the debate; I DON'T WANT TO BE LIKE THAT."

I may fail in this endeavor, but heck, I have a little time. Whenever this happens, I plan on posting it. What you WON’T find here are reds I received when I hurt someone's feelings. I am fine getting a red for that.

Inksling always abused the rep system because he loves to use it. Especially when it used to allow anyonymity, it gave him a sense of power to feed his ego.
