    Modern day Lysistrata

My (on again, off again) girlfriend has just finished reading the play Lysistrata. She poses an interesting theory that the reason that men subjugate women is because we fear them. The basis for that fear is that women hold all the biological power, and thus attempts at subjugation, by men, are nothing less than usurpation of that power. She also argues that if women were ever to become truly cognizent of the power they wield over men, that they could end war, reform government, and generally rule the world. Would you agree or disagree (I actually agree with part of her assertion).

I think it's time to be 'off again'.

Actually we're "off again" right now, and have been since I asked her who lit the fuse on her tampon.

That would just about do it. Although my girlfriend wouldn't allow me that same satisfaction I'm afraid, she really does understand the power she holds to make my life miserable. I think if your girl really understood that concept, she might be right in her theory.

I'll bet this is the part of her assertion that you agree with most!

Well, call this irony because it's pretty much off again permanently. Apparently I've been "gone too much" (sorry I work for a fucking living) and my "light of my life, my sun, my east, has told me to go fuck myself. She's found someone else.

I'm drinking tonight folks- so if I drop off suddenly you'll know why.
