WHICH moderator just violated our Forum Rights?

All right, I would like to know WHICH moderator it was, who just censored the Dictatorship thread in US Politics.



Look here - I quote from Bear's thread on Forum Rules:

All members have an innate right to post whatever, wherever, and however they want, and to have their posts be an expression of who they are - provided that their posts do not disrespect, or deny or work to deny, other members these rights. It is the role of the staff to ensure that this remains true forum-wide; it is the role of the staff to ensure that no member, both on the staff and not on the staff, disrespects the rights of others.



A legitimate post is a post that is in Political Hotwire that expresses a personal viewpoint on any matter that can be discussed between two or more posters, with each poster having equal access to the idea.

SOMEONE, removed a legitimate post of mine, which it took TEN WHOLE MINUTES to research. I did the research, and I posted the research in the thread, and I was not disrespectful to ANYONE in doing so, and I did not call anyone names (except to accuse someone of maybe falling for some Orwellian double-talk).



Now, I would like to know WHO this errant moderator is, doing the censorship, and I respectfully request this person be REMOVED from a position of authority in this forum.



Whoever it is, they just violated your own forum rules.



This is my "petition for redress": I would like that person identified and removed.

Personally I think if the staff is going to pull posts, then a room should be created and those posts be placed in a thread within that room. It would allow for review by the member and the members in general.

Look, I posted the same thing in two different threads. (more or less, the same thing).



The one, disappeared. The other one, is still there.



Maybe I'm tripping, who knows. I'm very tired and I'm tryin' to waste a few minutes away from the wife and kids before I have to deal with the dinner table.



I just looked at the "number of pages" on the thread in question, ten minutes ago there were 16 pages there and now there's only 14. SOMETHING happened, don't know what it is/was, but generally when things disappear it means they've been pulled.



If I'm over-tired and hallucinating, I will apologize. But first let's hear someone state what happened to my post. I did not copy and paste, I actually retyped it and even took the time to format it. There was no computer glitch on my side. So... I'd like to know what happened.



Look, I generally try to be very respectful in this forum. Occasionally I call someone out for BS, but I try to do it with a smile and good humor. And, if I rant, there's always some humor in it.



But this IS a political debate forum, correct? And, politics can get heated, and that's OKAY, people in this game know how to separate the good stuff from the fluff.



If I go nuts and say "you're a f'in *sshole and I'm gonna blow your stupid head off", THAT's censorable. But no such words were present in the thread that I read. It was just a very reasonable exchange of perspectives.



I'll wait for someone to step forward, or explain what happened, but I mean, censorship is uncool. Really. How can you debate politics if you can't debate politics? Someone calls Ron Paul a hypocrite, that's politics. Someone equates a tax with a fee and that's "not" politics? I don't get it...
