Is sucess solely dependent upon talent
is a persons sucess in their carrer or life itself solely dependent upon their own abilities talent merit. I all you need is talent and suces wil autromatically come to you
does a talented person make their own luck

or does sucess
depend upon
luck
chance
fate
being in the right place/time at the right time
knowing the right people
etc
etc
etc

Talent has little to do with success unless it is harnessed correctly. Personally I think most 'talents' should be considered a trade more or less.

For instance, a person should always know how to; build a house, ride a bike, learn to swim, fix a car, apply first aid, shoot a gun, survive in the wilderness, etc...

I consider myself somewhat talented at a few certain things. Others have said the same, in regards to music and art. I have succeeded a lot as well and grew greatly in those talents. But I failed 1000 times before I succeeded once. Failure is inevidible but success is more or less sticking to your guns and becoming what you invision yourself as being.

Oh sure luck has a lot to do with it. But by not sticking to your guns, when luck rolls around, you will be without your talent because you left it behind and the opportunity would pass you by.

And even people with zero talent can be quite successful at many things. And people with zero talent can become quite talented as well.

Everyone has an equal amount of luck when they are acting on their own behalf. For the most part, success is a matter of sheer will. Most successful people have long histories of failing. What made them a success, was that they never gave up.

LOL as I said before luck will be there but if you aren't talented because you GAVE UP then it will pass you by.

but if you aren't talented because you GAVE UP then it will pass you by.

so a sign of faliure is not being successfull if you have talent-not getting success means that you GAVE UP -is that right
