I'm curious. Why is speech always free unless it's racism? It doesn't make any sense to me.

What if someone's entire political belief is founded off of racism? I think they should be able to voice their political opinion.

That's how freedom works. As we say in Spain, your freedom ends were the freedom of someone else beggins. If by using your freedom you cause harm to someone, then you shouldn't be allowed to use it. Similar to why there are prisions and stuff.

I'm very sorry that there are people like that.. and they can say their opinion at home or among their family and friends. Not on PH

Both the admin and I agree with you, Feslin, about the idea of freedom to express unpopular opinions, as long as it is not aimed at the member personally, should be allowed.

The problem is that comments which call for the destruction or seperation of people by race or skin color caus such bitter fights and cost the board valuable members. Upon a vote by the moderators last year, it was decided that racism would not be permitted at PH, to keep the peace with the majority of the membership.

Racism is not free speech racism is a deplorable degenerated ideology that has no place amongst the diversity of PH.

The last time a degenerate (David Duke) was allowed to preach the trash he did we almost lost some valued members who were more than offended by what he was saying.

I'm sorry but in my opinion racists are NOT people they are only the lowest form of filth in society.

In a civilized society racism should not be tolerated anywhere, public or private. I agree with OM on this one.

Honky, cracker, redneck, all seem to be acceptable, there's only one word that seems to be racist. Why is that?

I would consider honky & cracker to be racist insults.
