Thread: Dogsbody breaks nearly all the rules

Rules i think dogsbody is breaching, this guy needs some serious moderator action.

1)While debating and discussion is encouraged, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or otherwise inflammatory posts.

Lots of put downs and demeaning remarks puts him in breach of rule number one.

3)Racism or discrimination of anyone based on race, gender, country of origin, age, etc. will not be tolerated. Promoting hate against another group of people will not be tolerated. You are welcome to express your opinion on racial matters, though if it is believed your agenda is to promote any type of discrimination your posting privelages will be revoked.

Breaking rule number 3, Discrimination based on age. Could also possible be encouraging hate against homosexuals although that would be a bit shaky as evidence

4) Becoming a disruption of any sort may lead to warnings, infractions, or banning. These rules are not all encompassing, if for whatever reason the staff feels you are a disruption to a healthy debate environment, your account may be suspended.

Definatley a disruption, a large number of the core members from all parts of the political spectrum have had issue with this guy

7)Advertising, spamming and trolling is not allowed. This includes using the forum email and private message system to spam other members. We are not an advertising venue. If we believe you have joined Political Hotwire to promote another website, your posting privelages will be revoked.

I've come to the conclusion that this guy is a troll, delibratley creating inflamatory posts to get under peoples skin and generally annoy people.

Now im not saying dogsbody isn't entertaining, but his place in serious political discussion seems rather limited.

Perhaps if we can create a new dogsbody forum which is the only forum he can access, that way we can still be entertained by him but at the same time not have him troll in the more serious threads

I think the time has come simply to ignore the man.

We all know why he is afforded more leniency than the others here.

It's called favoritism. It's so very obvious too.

I don't know... I reported a post of his yesterday.. not he didn't even get a warning for it...

I don't think someone has favoritism with him.. not in the mods team at least.. that is obviously not my case.

I find him extrememly annoying. He is overtly sarcastic and obnoxious. But I have not seen him break any rules.

Not sure you are quite making it clear that that was Dogsbody not yourself who said that - was it to Feslin or Leo? Can't quite recall but I do remember reading it.
