Thread: Not taking school serious enough!!!!!!!

So I am in school today, and I've been sittin here in my Web Design Class for about 15 minutes. Everyone has been sitting here browsing the web why the teacher rambles with the teacher next door. When is class going to start? I suprisingly wan't to learn this morning, I wen't to bed at 10:30 for that reason:hissy: . I find my other classes are the same way. I am starting to get bored an annoyed. School is becoming more of a hang out for kids then a learning place, it's pretty sad.

I would take it upon myself to learn if the teacher would start class. And yes im sure I'm in the right place whatever that means.

My teachers were the equivilent of babysitters, I couldn't count on them for any real knowledge.

This is the smartest thing Sparta's said since I've been here.

So, dude, go to some sites you can learn stuff from...historical sites, web design hints and helpers, different computer program sites, etc. Just learn for yourself and ignore what the other students are doing. Their misdirection can only hurt you, not help you, if you let them distract you.

Yeah, I've learned more from sites then text books when it comes to computers.
Here's a good basic one for SQL if you ever need to learn it:
Oracle/PLSQL Topics
