Halliburton No Bid Contract $500 million with Obama administration

This is the kind of hypocracy that makes me laugh. Halliburton does this in every administration. The leftists declare it a heinous crime when a Republican is at the helm but you lefties never even mentioned this while I gave you several hours in which to do so.
Halliburton has some abilities that make them unique. They therefore get no bid contracts.
Now the Obama Administration has given them one for $500 million.
Come on lefties. Rant about this.

Re: Halliburton No Bid Contract $500 million with Obama administration

    Reason given for the decision:
The Army didn’t put this work out for bids because U.S. commanders in Iraq advised against it, saying that enlisting a new company would be too disruptive as the U.S withdraws, Army program director Lee Thompson said in an interview before the Justice Department action was announced.
    Odierno’s View

The view of General Ray Odierno, the U.S. military commander in Iraq, was crucial to the decision, Army Chief of Staff General George Casey told reporters today.
“Odierno said, ‘I’ve got three million pieces of equipment I’ve got to get out of Iraq, I’ve got 100 or so bases to close, I’ve got to move 80,000-plus people out of here and you want me to change horses in the middle of the stream?’” Casey recounted.

Why don't you post the part where the military is asking for this?

The view of General Ray Odierno, the U.S. military commander in Iraq, was crucial to the decision, Army Chief of Staff General George Casey told reporters today.

“Odierno said, ‘I’ve got three million pieces of equipment I’ve got to get out of Iraq, I’ve got 100 or so bases to close, I’ve got to move 80,000-plus people out of here and you want me to change horses in the middle of the stream?’” Casey recounted.

It would appear that in this case the President has the best intentions in mind for the sake of the troops and their getting the heck out of Iraq with way fewer complications.

The point is not whether I think it's wrong. It's whether the lefties would be jumping all over Bush for the same thing. And YOU KNOW IT! This crap is why you aren't a moderator at PF anymore.

    Typical straw attempt at derailment.

It would appear you can't answer a question with a straight answer. You were all over Bush for no bid contracts. Now it's just ducky.

The point of your OP is hypocrisy of the Left. So I'm just wondering if you might be on thin ice on this one.
