...what would happen?
Will I be arrested? Go to jail?
My credit is already effed up. I don't own a house. I have no big dollar items for the most part, barring cars.
I can ignore the phone, ignore the mail.
So what would happen?

Before I tell you...one thing that could happen is you'd have enough money still to pay off my cards...
But really the only thing they can do is get a judgement and freeze your bank accounts if you don't pay the judgement in a reasonable amount of time.
D'pends how much we're talkin about.
I guess, depending, it might be a fair trade.
Funny stuff, I just emptied my two saving accounts to pay my last months bills. Amount left? 1) $21.43 2) $10.18But really the only thing they can do is get a judgement and freeze your bank accounts if you don't pay the judgement in a reasonable amount of time.
Oh, it's in the tens of thousands.:jawdrop:D'pends how much we're talkin about.
They will threaten too put you in jail but it won’t happen. If it becomes very delinquent they may garnish your wages but they try to avoid this but it does happen. Put liens on say the car you own and so forth. They would have to get a judgment against you to freeze your bank account and most are NOT willing to spend the money to do this. If you call them and have them close the account they will work with you because something is better than nothing to them. But yea, your credit will be 0.
I understand your holier-than-thou attitude, Mr. Sting, but of course my conscience wouldn't let me do such a thing. I have never been late on any payments in my life and have never had any penalties put upon me.
And so yes, I would feel bad about sticking it to other people....especially you.
And, by the way, I am responsible. I know you probably think that I was just using my credit cards to buy things I didn't need, but that is so far from the truth.
What is holier than thou about it? Who do you think pays for those goods when someone else choose not to pay off their credit card bill?
So why are you hinting that you are going to stop doing that and not pay your bill. You made the declaration not me. You are the one who claimed to have a credit problem and not you say you don't. Which is it?Mr. Sting, but of course my conscience wouldn't let me do such a thing. I have never been late on any payments in my life and have never had any penalties put upon me.
then pay off the billAnd so yes, I would feel bad about sticking it to other people....especially you.
