Thats great, however I would stay away from anything to do with retail (Nordstoms), 87000+ is just a drop in the bucket compared to the 2+ million still unemployed.

The next couple of years are going to be rough, the largest amount of ARM loans are adjusting starting this year and going forward. If we do not create some high paying jobs soon, we will have even more foreclosures on the market.

This isnt doomsdayer stuff this is the reality.

87,000 may be a drop in the bucket, but for 87,000 people it could be a lifesaver. Has to start somewhere.

When the economy is shedding millions of jobs regularly as well as providing little to no job growth, less than a hundred thousand current job openings are extremely overstated. Some even consider this sort of reckless optimism to be what's encouraging Americans to be less thrifty and responsible:

BTW, economics (even labor economics) just isn't the same thing as career development. Yes, I'm new here, yes, I've seen the description for the economics section, and yes, many forums have very weak economic emphasis in their "economics" sections, but this doesn't make it anymore pure.

I mean no offense, but why wouldn't this fit better in your Labor and Employment section?

What does that even mean? Daily? Weekly? Monthly?

From the threads that can be read in the labor and employment section, it looks like it'd be quarterly since there's more than 450k new unemployment applications being made every month.

If you'd like a detailed breakdown of job losses over the past year, here's a viable source:

450K new unemployment applications per month when 150K is the average job loss per month? Someone's not being honest.
