    Lightbulb Made In the U.S.A..?

I looked online for products made here so I could help those working here. I could find hardly any sites where fashionable clothing was made here. Carhart and New Balance make their products here but for casual clothing to go out in I could find nothing. I am past buying name brand products many of them are cheaply made anyway. All I found were specialty items or cowboy type jeans as well as hunting gear. I would like to dress like a modern person and keep up with styles. Ralph Lauren often puts an American flag logo on his products but makes them elsewhere. I like the Polo line and only wish they were not so greedy in their marketing of the product. If they paid Americans a little more and cut advertising (which they don't need because they are very well known) and made the expensive products here which would cost less to distribute than making them overseas... Just an idea. If I pay $80.00 for a shirt I want the person who spent 5 minutes sewing it to make more than $2-5.00 an hour. There are many culprits in the clothing game and I just thought that someone who puts our flag on a product should have our peoples interests in mind.okebrain:

I mentioned somewhere else that the Chinese up-and-comers are buying American-branded clothing at about the same cost as Americans - marketing works, although it seems a complete waste of money...So a chinese yuppie buys an $80 shirt of which $2 stays / goes back into China and $70 or so goes to the glass and steel tower in LA. Its what will keep America strong, ironically.
