The rate of occupancy in Chinese cities is much smaller than I had previously heard. At least one city suitable for 1 M residents has been built in inner Mongolia and it is empty. This fact was brought up in a discussion on another board in regards to the crappy reception for Citi's new stock offering. Citi has been financing Chinese show projects and when I checked the sources given I learned a lot of stuff I didn't know and I do check the Chinese news (Hong Kong news services). Obviously I am checking the wrong news sources anybody got anything in the way of free or at least cheap foreign business news?

    Oh crap.

I just sold my house for $200k. I wonder what I can get in inner Mongolia for that? When I was there in 86 I could have lived like a king for the rest of my days with that much moolah.

    The Great Bubble of China?

When you look at the China bubble and relate it to the debt bubble of the US, you will find their options and those resembles ours, default.

William, I can not give you news sources that are valuable, in this country, they simply do not exist.

Thank you both. The problem I have is that the XSP feb options seem to be predicting a huge crash between now and then and I am trying to figure out how much money I should put at risk but I don't know if Greece or China is more likely to go under first or how many other dominoes will fall.
