    Tax the Wealthy

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Warren Buffett has said it before and he's likely to say it again to Congress on Wednesday: He thinks the heirs of the wealthy should be taxed on their inheritance.
Buffett, one of the world's richest men and now its biggest philanthropist, has been an outspoken critic of efforts to repeal the estate tax and is scheduled to testify at a Senate Finance Committee hearing on how current law affects estate tax planning.
Estates worth up to $2 million this year and next will be exempt from federal estate tax, and portions of an estate above that amount would be taxed at 45 percent.

He's more than welcome to give every penny to the government voluntarily. Something I believe he has yet to do.

Thats so benevolent of you, but charities only take care of there own agendas, and when they are out of money they do no one any good.

Tax everyone equally or noone at all. Nobody should get special treatment, seeing as we are all created equal.

    Re: Tax the Wealthy

Why would any true American call to add additional taxes to her fellow people.

How is taxing an Inheritance that has previously been taxed, fair? The problem is that Dems will do anything to increase the overall amount of taxes collected so they can go on spending every dime on programs that keep the majority of Americans dependant on the "System". Then the fun begins when they attempt to pass off their wrong-doings as "For" the people, when in truth, their programs do nothing but teach apathetic dependant behavior.

    It's called slavery.
