ICE probing spike in dollar index futures
Someone, I think we know who, is manipulating the dollar market. There is absolutely no reason for a 9% increase. This should be easy to track and someone is going to prison, me thinks I know who.

Yep. "Market manipulation", right? That's what we noticed with the gold, too.
Something's going on. Smells like, "someone's trying to corner a market somewhere", right?
This is the same crap that happened just before the market crash in 1929.
Same stuff. Yikes!

If you noticed, in the short period of time that this order stood, the market dropped 99 points, that is evidence of what I was telling Meth yesterday. The value of the market is not up, it will fluctuate with the value of the dollar. Had this order not been canceled, the market would have dropped 9% in a pretty quick period of time, about a few hours quick. I put that in for the yuppies that celebrate the market, yet not understanding basic macro(fudged) economics.
Now it would take a firm with a lot of capitol to place the order, there are not to many that have that clout. I will allow this to play out, but I think I know who is responsible. The gold market also would have tanked, and those pesky futures are coming due.

Here's another interesting one, look at this: this is the near-term volatility index.

They were sure quick to react. There is a reason for that, hell these people "know" in advance what the market outcome for each day will be. They saw that 99 point drop, and they shit, it was an anomaly to them, and that don't happen.
Why is ICE running the probe? What does Immigration and Customs Enforcement have to do with the SEC? Japan, China and the EU are quite capable of seamless manipulation and no other foreign powers have the money.

Wanna see something REAL interesting, Michael?
Remember the little VIX chart I posted on Friday, with that big oi' spike in it?
It clearly showed an instantaneous four-point DROP in the index, remember?
It was about noon, on Friday, remember?
Well, lookie here: http://finance.yahoo.com/echarts?s=%5EVIN#chart1:symbol=^vin;range=5d;indic ator=volume;charttype=line;crosshair=on;ohlcvalues =0;logscale=on;source=undefined
Where is it?
- grin -
You ask me "how bad is it"? Well, here's your answer.![]()

Were in a definite race to the bottom.
The volatility is dragging ass. Huh........thinking.
MR, I don't know much about the currency market but can't it be anything causing this to occur? A few "market makers", a feel-good run, etc ?
I'm not asking to question, I'm asking more to wonder how the actual valuation of currency is much different than trading stocks (outside of the obvious stuff of course, volume, exchange regs, etc)
