The worst is yet to come: Unemployed Americans should hunker down for more job losses

If you lost your job, then your in a world of hurt, if you lose your job, you will not get it back. There is no jobless recovery, it is an oxymoron. There will be no recovery, and if you don't believe me, I could care a less, if you want to believe the liars that gave you this mess, then your going to be hurt.

If you have a job, treat it like your first born, for your own good.

    Your government fucked you!

Do what they do in 3rd world countries. Make your own meager business, sell something. like polishing shoes..sell niknaks..tee shirts..whatever.. to make a few bucks a day. to eat.....and reduce your standard of living by about 95 percent. That is the future for millions.

There won't be a recovery until our tax and trade laws are revised to promote AMERICAN manufacturing. Just stimulating spending means nothing when all those spent dollars simply boost the economies of Asia.

You betcha, people will come around eventually.
Let us not engage in the wrong argument, at the wrong time, between the wrong people, in the wrong country, while the real problems of our time grow and multiply, fertilized by our own neglect. – John F. Kennedy

Recovery won't happen until government taxation of employment is trimmed way back. Capital: Buildings and Equipment; is not taxed. Raw materials is not taxed. R&D is not taxed. So what is taxed? Equity investment including inventory and labor. So what is being removed from American businesses? Equity investment especially inventory and labor. Business taxes in this country are insane.

If you're a good bullshipper you could start a religion! Get a TV show and people will mail money into you.

I wonder how I could start a religion? Buy a nice suit and just start bullshitting? Set up a tent and let the suckers walk through and load up the money bucket?

In the book The Gods Of Eden, William Bramley suggests that this type of gloom and doom thought can become true, simply because people have a negative view of the future. A self fulfilling prophesy, in other words.

Call me a cynic but I'll bet we'll hear later this year, maybe six weeks before the elctions, that hiring it skyrocketing and unemployment is plummeting. Then, two months after the election we'll hear, oops, we missed a decimal.
