Looks they have been washing over the truth and lying like crazy. So, this guy in the French prison, was there no evidence against him? NY Times neglects that part of the story. Well shit, if the guy himself says he's innocent, then he must be.

Thats funny - it reminded me of exactly the same quote.

You read it on newsbusters.org... and came away 100% convinced that it was true.

And like most people who detest the New York Times.. you don't actually read it.

That's a very convenient and effortless worldview.

Everyt ime I've read the New York Times online it's been full of 9-11 monument bickering, wine tasting advice, heartwarming baseball stories, and some clever art professor who thinks Bush is a metaphor for a present day Shakespeare character. Mad magazine is far more rebellious.

But I'm off topic.. did they 'turn over the op-ed page to him' or did they let him write an article? There's kind of a difference. And where's the love for them nailing him the first time? Wasn't that good reporting?

I read the Times a few times a week, but I'd never subscribe to it.
