Why do people who support the death penalty not support abortion?


I find state sponcered killing, no matter what your crime, to be barbaric to a so called civilized nation. However, and this is the tricky part and most pro-choicers I believe will stand by me on this one, I do not support Abortion either, I just dont support the government, especially the current "good ole boys" **scratches head and wonders if she should put condo in there too?** administration trying to interfer with a womans right to choose whats best for her body. And while we are at it, I wouldnt support a governments right to interfere in the very personal and tragic decision to end a family members life.

Sometimes choices are very personal, and best left between the individual and there own "God" or "Spirit" or whoever they may choose to enlighten there life.

I'm pro-choice (NOT pro-abortion) and I support the death penalty.

I am Pro-Choice as well. A women has the right to choose, period. I am for executing people who commit premeditated murder of other people as well. I am also for stem cell research and hopefully it will be overturned so research can begin to try to find cures for paraplegics and cancer victims. Stem cells are not concious living entities.

Because unborn babies are INNOCENT, and a murderer is NOT. Simple enough?

And I find people like Tookie Williams, who was everyone's "pet", barbaric. I find people who kill for pure pleasure barbaric. Nobody gives a shit about the victim---what about their rights? They didn't do a damn thing wrong except be in the wrong place at the wrong time, and the way this screwed up justice system is going, there's a chance that these killers will be set loose to kill again. I say KILL THEM so there's no chance of that.


And don't start spouting shit about Bush and the military.

Tookie deserved his punishment... he killed those people in cold blood. Don't let the Jamie Foxx movie sway you.

Actually GW, I havent seen the movie, but I HAVE read the transcripts and legal motions regarding the case. I wouldnt go so far as to day that Tookie was guilty or innocent of his crimes, but I certainly believe he deserved a second trial, ESPECIALLY in a capital murder case.

Do we really want to be chancing murdering the innocent?
