What happens if the church pays for the insurance?

This may have been asked and answered earlier.
What happens if the employee contributes toward the insurance?

If I understand your question correctly, there is no issue. However, that does not explain what happens if the church pays for the insurance.

In many cases even when an employer offers health insurance the employee pays part of it and the employer pays part of it. What then? The compromise says that the insurance company provides the prescription for free. The church isn't paying for the contraception.

Thats based on the premise that there is an employee contribution to that particular healthcare plan. If no contribution is made by employees than how is that conflict rectified?

The insurance company provides contraceptives for free. They're cool with it. It saves them money.

That sounds reasonable provided the church does not have to pay a higher premium to compensate for these "free" contraceptives. In that case we go back to square one. imo

Then why does obama feel the need to mandate it?

Bottom line, the Obama "compromise" still ties the church to the payment and supply of something it does not want to be a part of. Their employees are paid fare wage. Contraceptives are not astronomical to purchase. Therefore, the employee is left with choices...adjust her spending habits to allow for the priority purchase of contraceptives, or find another job.

Until the Progressives take full control, working women are still free to choose.

Working women can use contraceptives or not, as they choose. That's between them and their doctor. Contraceptives are a medical issue. These Catholics are right up there with the Christian Scientists who don't want to allow medical treatment for their terminally ill kids, 'cause they think the Bible tells 'em not to.
