If that's the case I take back what I said about you being an anti-Obama hack.........You're an anti-reality Conspircay whack job who hates all Presidents & never met a conspiracy he didn't believe!

    My apolgeeze.
Whatever it takes to allow you to continue to live in your self-imposed fantasy world, where it's okay if Democrats do it. You can't call me racist when I bag on Obama because that destroys your narrative, so you segue into Oscar99 territory and tell me that because I hold some alternative views about international events, everything I have to say ever is void and wrong and dumb.

I'm glad this helps you maintain your worldview, but you can't expect to do this to everyone AND have everyone take you seriously. At some point, you'll need to realize (just like I did) that the "other side" DOES have valid points that are worth investigating. It's the only way to break free from your self-imposed prison and become intellectually relevant.

    You answered my question.
No, I agree with him. And I like Obama. I like him a lot. He's my kind of guy, literally, as he talks like an academic. But he governs very differently than he campaigned. It's like someone kidnapped his children and his term in the White House is the ransom.
Even when alternative views are clearly wrong, being exposed to them still expands our creative potential. In a way, the power of dissent is the power of surprise. After hearing someone shout out an errant answer, we work to understand it, which causes us to reassess our initial assumptions and try out new perspectives. “Authentic dissent can be difficult, but it’s always invigorating,” Nemeth says.

I did mis-remember your beliefs RT & had you pegged as just another Obama hater/partisan. You aren't!

As these few posts from a single thread show...

Which further reinforces the idea that we have one schizophrenic party pretending to hate itself to maintain control over the incurious and the distracted. And NOW they're trying to turn the incurious and the distracted on those that are paying attention, because they want a self-policing system so they can focus on other business pursuits elsewhere in the world. Namely, how to shut down SinoRuskie Alliance.

My opinion is that he had to govern that way considering the unprecedented RW opposition he's faced since his inauguration day.
No other President has faced a filibuster on virtually every single piece of legislation they proposed & no other President has faced an absolute stone wall in terms of bipartisanship.

This snip-it relating to hc really speaks to the GOP's entire asgenda towards Obama...They want to destroy him & what damage they do to the country doesn't matter:

First order of business for the new Senate in 2013 should be a rules change doing away with the filibuster. (a simple majority vote could do it)

Obama got elected with a clear public mandate to reject Conservative governance. He then immediately kowtowed to the Conservative agenda when he became president. That's not a conspiracy, that's fact.

That doesn't mean Obama has to help them do it!

Which will simply mean that Dems will defeat themselves, get unelected, and then we all take it up the tailpipe from Conservatives for ever and ever, Amen.

The American voter will be happy to have obstructionism removed from their government & maybe we can start rebuilding this country & creating jobs again!

The filibuster in Republican hands has not been a tool but a weapon wielded to all our detriment.
