    Halliburton Payoff

I'm not sure what to think. The auditors claim that a lot of this is inflated and/or unsubstantiated. But the Army's attitude is "Oh, well" and it will be paid. I think, in light of the financial trouble we're in already, shouldn't we be a little more careful with money?

    Haliburton

Cock, I mean Dick Cheney was CEO of Haliburton Pook. Him and puppet boy George W. are still heavily vested in this company. Any national debt created by this administration will eventually be paid by WE THE PEOPLE. And our future lineage. Like Cartmen (SouthPArk) says: "Whatever, They'll do what they want!
And we're to stand back and fell "AMERICAN"... cripes, I'm going to go get a beer... ~Inky

They were vested long before this administartion

Why do you think Haliburton recieves no-bid contracts? Conflict of interest with those sons of whore bitches. They're not about America, they're about greed, power, and everything else you southern bible thumpers preach against. ~Inky

i dont believe the bible nor do i follow it by any means. it would just be dumb for the pres and v p to give contracts to companies they know little about. having inside relations with haliburton ensures a job done correctly. yes, some curruption may follow, but that is the choice of the pres and vp. it would be costly to invest in unknown companies and do the research behind the bookkeeping, resources, etc. of that company to be contracted when the same process can be carried out more quickly and efficiently through an inside relations company.

as long as cheney holds no senior board power at haliburnton (even if he is best friends and former cfo or ceo) he should be allowed to contract their business. it is a free market, right?

yes. but also, in a free market, there is competition, hopefully. if there is no-bid contracts just handed out, there is no competition, and ultimately, monopoly and no market.

    You're whack AB

    Exactly Lemon..
AB, you have no defense in support of this administration. That last paragraph was a joke. Spoken like a true hypocrit my man. For the sake of this country I hope your future interests and career isn't in politics. Americans are tired of your kind of thought processing.. ~Inky

    Doubtful my young man

... mommy and daddy might be able to buy your car, but I doubt they can afford the payoff to get a racist in office. America is done with racists in government. You were born 60 years too late laddy. ~Inky

parents did not support buying my car. they would match 50% of what i could afford and after 9 months of working a grocery store job i could afford my car and insurance/gas/etc for it. i refuse to take handouts and now i am a sales person at a department store- while in highschool. and im not racist? and being a senator is realistically not a goal of mine, but i could become one if i desired- and with my own money
