    Executive Pay Way Up...Again

While the economy languishes and companies refuse to hire more workers, they use their huge profits to compensate executives. Back to same-old, same-old....
The final figures show that the median pay for top executives at 200 big companies last year was $10.8 million. That works out to a 23 percent gain from 2009. The earlier study had put the median pay at a none-too-shabby $9.6 million, up 12 percent.

Total C.E.O. pay hasn’t quite returned to its heady, prerecession levels — but it certainly seems headed there. Despite the soft economy, weak home prices and persistently high unemployment, some top executives are already making more than they were before the economy soured.

Even when alternative views are clearly wrong, being exposed to them still expands our creative potential. In a way, the power of dissent is the power of surprise. After hearing someone shout out an errant answer, we work to understand it, which causes us to reassess our initial assumptions and try out new perspectives. “Authentic dissent can be difficult, but it’s always invigorating,” Nemeth says.

Yea, I've been seeing some articles about this. It's outrageous. I think I saw something where 1% of all income increases since the recession ended went to wage earner? I can't remember where I saw it ...

I saw the same thing, or heard it.
