Let's see. Did you manage to:
A) Address the original post?
B) Address the historical aspect and it's current correlations?
C) Manage to be geographically correct?

Now, I've known you a long time. You are a smart guy. Surely, if you'd given more than what appears to be 3 seconds of effort to it, you could have managed something at least moderately interesting/intelligent/accurate.

I would say that the thread was started to visually illustrate how the type of people that fight social change that will benefit the people are always the same crowd.
Is that the sign next to that lady saying: Race Mixing is Communism?
It sure does ring bells - all those people in front of the Capitol yesterday spitting on a black member of Congress, using the N word to others as they pass by, using anti-gay epithets to another and all the while, waving the American flag and calling themselves "the American people" as if they represent all of us. In my personal opinion, they're a throwback to the worst of our history and would take us back there if they could.
