This is a pretty brazen statement of what many of us have known for quite some time. Mr. Obama wholly intends to "redistribute the wealth" of America legislatively.

I used consider the man a socialist, but his latest actions are straight out of the works of Marx. Mr. Marx wrote about a society who participants would participate in society taking and giving "from each according to his ability to each according to his need." Sound familiar?

The NYT, maybe giddy with joy over the socialization of the health care industry, has essentially spilled the beans and validated the views many hold of Mr. Obama and his agenda.

Nearly every major aspect of the health bill pushes in the other direction. This fact helps explain why Mr. Obama was willing to spend so much political capital on the issue, even though it did not appear to be his top priority as a presidential candidate. Beyond the health reform’s effect on the medical system, it is the centerpiece of his deliberate effort to end what historians have called the age of Reagan.
